Two step Mango Salsa

THIS SALSA IS AMAZING! It's simple but its different than your usual tomato or corn salsa. Its almost a fruit salad but with veggies. And it pairs up beautifully with some fiery chicken tacos that I will be posting soon. I called it a two step salsa because it really is that simple. You cut it up and let it marinate thats it. You can play around with the fruit you add to the salsa and the spiciness of your pepper. I used mango because they were in season that time but you can use pineapple or apples or any hard fruit.


  • 2 ripe mangos

  • 1 red bell pepper

  • 1 small red onion

  • 1 lime (juice)

  • Seasoning

  • Cilantro

  • 1 hot chilli pepper


  • Chop all the ingredients in equal size

  • Add the lime juice and seasoning

  • Let the salsa sit in the fridge to marinate

  • And you're done!

Simple isn't it, this salsa is really good to pair with meat dishes but you can also eat it with some fried tofu in tacos and ven fish. So try it out and tell me what you think.
